Our Sunday services are now being held in hybrid format with in-person and ZOOM sessions from 2-3:30pm.
The in-person services are held about once a month so please check the current bulletin for dates and places. GODS OF THE BIBLE WITH ELAINE HUTCHINSON; TUESDAY, OCT 13; 7-9PM; $10.00
There are many names for God: Source, Creator, Yahweh, Jehovah, Monad to name a few. Some people are passionate about the name of their God.
The Bible begins with the affirmation of monotheism in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This foundational statement sets the stage for the biblical narrative, which upholds the belief in one sovereign God.
However, on the sixth “day” of creation in, Genesis 1:26, God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,”… Who is “us”? What is “our image/likeness”?
Throughout the Old Testament, the Israelites are repeatedly warned against the worship of other gods. In Exodus 20:3, the first of the Ten Commandments explicitly states, “You shall have no other gods before Me”. Why was this even a necessity?
The Bible describes the gods of other nations as powerless and lifeless idols. But are they? We are going to look at the gods of the Bible and try to determine if we are truly worshipping the one true Creator, and who we are in a Spiritual battle with.

Mary, mother of Jesus and representative of the Divine Mother, loves all her “children”. We were all children once, enjoying being in our world, which may have seemed new to our child self. She remembers and so can we, enjoy the memory and walk again in innocence. Let this Divine Mother inspire you again. Let’s discover together in a workshop dedicated to our Mother.

ON-GOING WEEKY CLASSES
WALK WITH GOD – with REV. SANDY GREER – WEDNESDAYS, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM; NO COST
You are invited to join us each Wednesday as we come together to explore and learn about Bible verses that will help us grow spiritually. Have your lunch and Bible ready so we can fellowship over the noon hour to read and discuss the Bible verse/s chosen for the day.
Some Sunday talks may be available for purchase, subject to a minimum donation of $5.00.
